How to clean soap scum off a shower screen
We can show you, in just five easy steps, how you can easily remove soap scum build-up with just white vinegar & bi-carbonate of soda.
Get ready to clean your shower glass like a pro.
- Lightly dampen a microfibre cleaning cloth in lukewarm water.
- Spray white vinegar onto your shower glass.
- Dip a slightly dampened microfibre cloth into a small amount of bi-carb. Apply directly to the shower glass where you've sprayed the vinegar, applying in circular motion. You will notice it will start to fizz. Keep going until fizzing stops. Re-apply to rest of screen.
- Rinse shower screen and microfibre cloth with warm water.
- Partly dry the shower screen glass, finishing off with a dry glass microfibre cloth.
The above information works well for soap scum, however if you have calcium/hard water stains on your shower screens and recess tiles, then this process will not remove it.
You will need to get it professionally cleaned.
